Beth’s passion is promoting women’s wellness throughout the lifespan. She has dreamed of becoming a Midwife since she was 9 years old and is finally there. She graduated from University of Cincinnati in April of 2020 with a master’s degree in nursing with an emphasis on nurse-midwifery. Prior to this she has been supporting women through labor, birth, postpartum, and breastfeeding for the last 20 years as a labor and delivery nurse. She graduated from University of Hawaii with her Bachelors of Nursing in 1997 and in 2013 she became an IBCLC (Internationally Board Certified Lactation Consultant) and has assisted families in reaching their breastfeeding goals for the last 7 years. She has extensive experience in assessment of breastfeeding issues, infant oral function and treatment and resolution of these issues.
Beth takes a holistic approach to women’s health and values listening to and collaborating with women. She knows that what is right for one woman may not be right for another, as we all have diverse goals and expectations that are shaped by our own culture, background, and beliefs. Beth’s goal is to provide a safe place to ask questions, to provide the most current, evidence based information, and to support women and their family in making choices that are best for them.
Whether you are seeking care for annual wellness, birth control, pregnancy & birth, breastfeeding, menstrual irregularities, or menopause, Beth is here to serve you.
